TRUCK RULES: Any full size truck 3/4 ton and below are legal for this event. 4x4 trucks are legal, but front drive shaft must be removed. S.U.V.'s and Vans are legal.
Fuel Tank: Stock fuel tanks must be removed. A METAL boat tank or fuel cell must be placed in the bed of the truck, against the cab. Fuel line must be mounted securely.
Body: Doors must me welded or wired shut. But must be bolted or welded to the cab. Rust can be patched with same gauge metal, no more than 1-inch overlap. Truck beds may be interchanged but must utilize factory frame mounts. May only run Factory style beds, No utility or homemade beds. Body can be bolted solid to frame. All trucks can have a maximum of 8 body mount bolts in the bed of the truck. Body mount bolts may be replaced with bolts no lager than 1in. Washers may be no bigger than 3in x3in. Tailgates may be welded solid. Tailgates may be dropped. You may run 9 wire from bedside to bedside in 1 place. May bolt hood down with max 6 1-inch bolts.
Cage: You may run a 4-point cage inside the cab of the truck. Cage can be welded to the frame. You can run a gas tank protector in the bed of the truck. It may not connect to cage. Protector can only be 36 in wide. This is to protect gas tank only.
Bumpers: May use any OEM automotive bumper (no farm Bumpers). Bumper must have a factory front and back skin. Bumpers can be welded together. Trucks may use home made mounting brackets. Brackets may be welded to the frame. Brackets can be no larger than 6 inches. NO OTHER WELDING ON THE FRAME ANYWHERE.
Drive Line: Any motor transmission combination. 8Lug rear ends are OK.
Suspension: Leafs have to be stock or less than stock, no flat leafs must have an arch to them. 3 claps per side.
Tires: No paddles, no v-treads. No split Rims. No bead locks.
